The Particle 2 has trails parameters at the global and preset level. If trails is not working in a preset, check that it was not saved with trails off.
You can turn trails on using:
- The web editor (requires Google Chrome)
- Our TouchOSC template
- MIDI CC #111
Firmware version 2.1.1 (4/23/2021) fixed an issue switching between presets with trails on and off. You can download the latest firmware update from our web site.
If you need to change the trails setting for a preset, you can use the web editor to load the preset, turn on trails, and save it again.
